Manley & Pitcher Construction Ltd was formed back in 2003 bringing together the unique talents of Matthew Manley and Mark Pitcher.

This versatile partnership can now demonstrate an established portfolio of successful projects, proving that they provide a trustworthy service which achieves excellent results at competitive rates.

Manley & Pitcher are now approaching their seventh year of trading. Due to their skills base and combined experience spanning over 35 years the company has gone from strength to strength completing many high profile projects. This accompanied with Matthew and Marks flexibility and professionalism has allowed them to employ a steady work force, even growing in size during a turbulent economic downturn.

The extensive knowledge and experience of Manley & Pitcher ensures a broad understanding of clients' needs, providing a workable solution regardless of the size and scope of the project. Matthew Manley has the foresight to see the bigger picture and provide the client with all the relevant information to make an informed decision. This accompanied with Mark Pitchers wealth of practical experience alongside his proven project management skills allows Manley & Pitcher to provide an honest well-rounded approach to any building venture.

Community Values

Manley & Pitcher regards itself as a community based company and even though the company works across Norfolk it still feels committed to providing support and knowledge to local groups and projects within and around Norwich. As well as sponsoring a number of local sports teams Manley & Pitcher are the building partners for the Our House Project delivered by Broadland District Council. The Project aims to support over 85 hard to reach young people and allows them to gain an insight into the construction industry, as well as achieving accreditations increasing their opportunities for future employment. Our House is a three year programme and on completion the renovated house will provide a state of the art social and educational facility for young people across Norfolk.

Background & Experience

Matthew Manley

Matthew learnt his skills working for such companies as John Young's, Van Elle and May Gurney. He is a qualified CSCS Building Site Manager and has passed his Site Safety Management Training. Matthew is also qualified to work on the Public Highways as he has achieved an Operator and Supervisory level with the NRSWA. He is the adviser and professional expert on the Our House Project delivered by Broadland District Council.

Mark Pitcher

Mark learnt his trade as a builder working for a local development company where he served a three year apprenticeship. He then went on to work for such companies as Laing and R.G. Carter working on large scale projects which included the Norfolk and Norwich General Hospital and the University of East Anglia's new accommodation blocks. Mark lead's by example, passing down valuable practical knowledge to his staff and to the Our House teams. This hard to reach client group responds well to Mark and his staff achieving excellent results and raising their future aspirations through working alongside respected industry professionals.
