Flintwork Norfolk
Norfolk has some of the finest flintwork in the country and because Manley and Pitcher are a local company we have experience in working with flint and pride ourselves on our ability to maintain heritage buildings across the county. We strongly believe that it is very important to use historically correct methods when restoring, extending or repairing existing period features.
Much of the flintwork in Norfolk is Knap flintwork and involves uniformly setting flint stone into brickwork in an ornate fashion. It can usually be seen on the outside of churches and cathedrals as part of a decorative design.
In addition to the period restoration work we also undertake all traditional building work including new builds, extensions, loft conversions and insurance work.
